Bringing the ethical practice of supervision to Pakistani mental health professionals in the form of supervision sessions, programs, and courses.
Supervision is a specialized form of mentoring provided for practitioners responsible for undertaking challenging work with people. Supervision is provided to ensure standards, enhance quality, advance learning, stimulate creativity, and support the sustainability and resilience of the work being undertaken.
– British Association for Counseling & Psychotherapy
Supervision consists of a mental health practitioner meeting a trained supervisor to discuss casework and other professional issues in a structured way. The purpose is to assist the practitioner to learn from the supervisors’ experience and progress in expertise, as well as to ensure good service to their own clients.
At CIC, we offer individual and group clinical supervision sessions with local & international supervisors. We also offer supervision training courses/workshops and programs.

Our collaboration with Kiran Foundation to make Well-Being Officers out of community members wishing to support those around them.
Project Rehma is a collaborative initiative between the Centre of Inclusive Care and Kiran Foundation. Designed to empower community members, the program trains individuals as Well-being Officers.
These officers play a pivotal role in their communities, promoting healing, self-care, and resilience. Rooted in the concept of ‘Mercy’ (Rehma in Arabic), our nine-month training course emphasizes ethical, moral, and professional standards.
Through a nurturing approach, we aim to foster safety, compassion, and transformative change within communities.

A project specially designed to cater to people in the helping professions in high stress positions so they, in turn, can make a greater difference in the lives of those who need their assistance.
Project Imdad is specially designed to cater to people in the helping professions in high stress positions so they, in turn, can make a greater difference in the lives of those who need their assistance. We hope to be pioneers in this area of work in our country. The Centre of Inclusive Care team aims to help health care professionals understand:
• The difference between sympathy and empathy, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma and secondary traumatic stress.
• How to develop a deeper understanding of the feelings they are absorbing from their work place and the ways in which these emotions might be affecting other aspects of their lives.
• How to work with roadblocks when they are feeling stuck.
• The importance of self-care.
• The kind of support they need and where to get it.
As a recent update Project Imdad has renewed it’s efforts in response to the dedication and selflessness with which our Frontline Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics are working. Centre of Inclusive Care joins hands with Shifaam to offer our support in the battle with COVID-19.
